This qualification is usually achieved by taking a one-day classroom-based course with a minimum contact time of 6 hours, at any Highfield approved international centre. There are no specific age restrictions for this qualification.
How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?
Learners will sit a 45 minutes multiple-choice examination containing 20 questions and must achieve at least 12 (60%) correct answers to be awarded a Pass. Learners achieving 16 (80%) or more correct answers will be awarded a Distinction.
How is the qualification assessed?
Individuals achieving this qualification can then progress onto any of the Highfield Health and Safety
qualifications such as Highfield Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the workplace (RQF); Highfield Level 2 International Award in the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) .
